At OGC, we’ve always done business differently because we believe in something bigger: supporting organic farmers, caring for the planet and lifting up our community in lasting ways. Last year, we:
Were named Organic Company of the Year
Sourced and delivered over 94% certified organic produce
Championed pro-organic policy in Oregon, Washington and the nation’s capital
Reduced emissions, waste and food loss through innovative partnerships
Returned 30% of net profits to our stakeholders
OGC’s 2024 Benefit Report reflects our shared work and the better world we strive to create. Here’s to what we’ve built and what’s still ahead because the stakes for organic have never been higher.
At a time when science, sustainability and independent farmers are under increasing pressure, OGC remains unwavering in our commitment to our mission. We will keep showing up — on the ground, in the room and at the mic — to defend the integrity of the organic label, support the people who grow our food and fight for policies that prioritize health, equity and a livable future.
Organic is not just a standard. It’s a force for good, and we’re in it for the long haul.
Thank you for growing with us.
CEO, Organically Grown Company
Purpose-led
Rooted in Purpose, Growing for the Future
Purpose is OGC’s North Star, driving every bold move we make. Born in 1978 from small-scale farmers and environmental activists, we’ve always been big-hearted rebels with a cause – committed to growing the organic movement.
In 2018, OGC defied the norm by becoming one of the first U.S. companies to transition to a Perpetual Purpose Trust – locking in our independence and mission for good. This model lets us challenge the status quo, back our growers, bring exceptional organic produce to our customers and fight for a healthier planet.
Grounded yet driven, we’re here to revolutionize food, farming and economic models – staying true to our roots while building a sustainable future for organic agriculture.

planet-first
Being fierce protectors of the organic
movement means caring for the planet.
Every action matters. That’s why we power our facilities with renewable energy, stay laser focused on sustainable packaging and pay attention to the tiny details – like developing a system to recycle twist-ties and tags to keep them out of the landfill, and so much more.
people-centered
Our Community is Our Strength
From the farmers who grow delicious produce to the retailers who connect shoppers with healthy organic food to coworkers who are the backbone for our company, it takes a village to drive the organic movement forward.
